Talking Points:
Our girls put in a performance full of guts character and skill against a strong Navan side. Aibhbe Kennedys accuracy was the starting point for many Dunboyne attacks and some gutsy defending led by Rachael Coleman kept us in the game until the last few minutes. Sophia O Reilly risked life and limb in one tackle. Rachel Norman and Aislinn Kelly worked tirelessly in midfield against a pair of Navan giants and never gave an inch. Other bright spots were some great scores by Rachel Daly and Ellie Galvin. In truth all twenty three girls played their hearts out and all deserve huge credit on a big performance. Focus now moves towards Feile and with good attendance and the same grit and determination these girls will do the club proud.

ABOUT US

Established in 1902 by Bob O’Keeffe, the hurling section of the club has been in existence for more than 100 years. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the game of Gaelic Football was properly organised within the club and in 1952 it became known as St. Peter’s GAA Club. Today both football and hurling, along with the camogie and ladies football sections, are thriving.
