Talking Points:
This win secured a 100% record in the league stages. A quick start saw GC go 2 points up but a poachers goal by Sadhbh and a screamer byRachel N saw us comfortably up after playing into a stiff breeze. Another strong start saw a spirited Gael Colmcilles pull to within 4 points. After that nothing worried Ailbhe who was calmness personified in goals and with a brace of classy points by captain Sophia and a classy finish by Kate saw us run uncomfortable winners.

ABOUT US

Established in 1902 by Bob O’Keeffe, the hurling section of the club has been in existence for more than 100 years. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the game of Gaelic Football was properly organised within the club and in 1952 it became known as St. Peter’s GAA Club. Today both football and hurling, along with the camogie and ladies football sections, are thriving.
