Talking Points:
The old adage \"goals win games\" proved true as Wolfe Tones overcame a battling Dunboyne side in Kilberry on Bank Holiday Monday. Playing against the wind in the first half, Dunboyne were slow to start and at half time found themselves 7 points adrift. The comeback looked on mid way through the second half as Dunboyne trimmed the lead back to 2 points. However, two goals in as many minutes were killer blows and Wolfe Tones saw the game out reasonably comfortably. Best for Dunboyne were Bronagh Moran, Rachel McDermott, Aisling Flynn and Katie Tobin

ABOUT US

Established in 1902 by Bob O’Keeffe, the hurling section of the club has been in existence for more than 100 years. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the game of Gaelic Football was properly organised within the club and in 1952 it became known as St. Peter’s GAA Club. Today both football and hurling, along with the camogie and ladies football sections, are thriving.
