Talking Points:
]dunboyne got back to winning ways in impressive style last night in the intermediate championship against Moynalvey. Th eyteam had a number of changes from the last match and each player performed very well. Playing into the scoreboard end we started very well and quick scores saw dunboyne leading by 7 points mid way through the first half. Good inter play created the opportunities which were well taken, the forwards showing good accuracy The back line were strong and dealt comfortably with the moynalvey attacks The 2nd half saw our scoring and shooting dip a little, but the chances were still being created and the work rate was maintained. Elaine doyle maker here return from the usa with a 15 minute burst in the 2nd half. Strong performances from rachel mc dermott Aoife boylan Amy & katie bermingham, sinead hackett and Alison Jones

ABOUT US

Established in 1902 by Bob O’Keeffe, the hurling section of the club has been in existence for more than 100 years. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the game of Gaelic Football was properly organised within the club and in 1952 it became known as St. Peter’s GAA Club. Today both football and hurling, along with the camogie and ladies football sections, are thriving.
