Talking Points:
Superb display from our super 16\'s Division 1 who made it 3 wins from 3 on a very sticky pitch against Na Fianna this afternoon. This was an excellent overall performance from a team who are getting better and better and can now look forward to a semi final in the coming weeks. The defence in particular was in top form, our six backs harried, blocked and tackled like demons in front of Crea who marshalled the backs and made some excellent and timely saves. Our midfield of Emma, Aoife and Aideen ran the show and made sure that our forwards got plenty of good ball. Eeach one of our forwards had the better of their markers and it was great to see a spread of scorers showing the threat we had all over the pitch. Great overall performance from this very talented squad

ABOUT US

Established in 1902 by Bob O’Keeffe, the hurling section of the club has been in existence for more than 100 years. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the game of Gaelic Football was properly organised within the club and in 1952 it became known as St. Peter’s GAA Club. Today both football and hurling, along with the camogie and ladies football sections, are thriving.
