Junior Hurling Group B Rd3: Kiltale 4:14 (2f) Dunboyne 0:12 (5f)

Our Junior Hurlers tasted defeat for the first time against an experienced Kiltale side in their last JHC group game this evening. Two goals in either half for the home side, along with some wayword Dunboyne shooting, proved primarily to be the difference at the end. Dunboyne, trailing 2:05 to 0:05 at the break, battled hard all the way to the final whistle but were always on the back foot. None the less they may have done enough to reach the County Semi Final and will know tomorrow night after the Kildalkey v Drumree clash. There is certainly plenty of potential in this group with a few injured and away players to come back into the fold, reaching a County Final is well within their reach.

Side note: Best of luck to Liam D, Cian R, Conor M, Ciaran McC and Tom L as they are all receiving their Leaving Cert results in the morning, and all certainly played their part in this evenings clash.
