On a separate note, the club would like to extend their gratitude to Senior Football Manager Ger Robinson who announced his departure after the game

Robo has given his all to the club whether that be in a playing, coaching, supporting or managing capacity at senior and underage level. He really is the ultimate clubman and we are lucky to have him.

He has given three years of intense commitment managing the senior football team along with his team of selectors and coaches - Stephen, Andy, Micksey, Gary, Darren and John among others.

A real sign of the regard he is held in was the outpouring of appreciation from the players after yesterday’s game. While the years may not have ended in silverware, Robo has left no stone unturned in his efforts and has ensured that plenty of talent has been brought through to senior ranks.

We have no doubt the impact of his work will continue to be felt for years to come and also no doubt that we will continue to see Robo’s presence around the club for years to come, particularly in support of his two sons

Go raibh maith agat Ger 🖤💛🖤💛
